| Whew! I want you to empty your entire purse out and see what kind of goodies you have found. Oh look, a receipt from 2024, or a piece of gum, or at least it used to be a piece of gum before it turned into a weapon that you could use to cut something! Now let’s get serious. How many of us complain about our purse is too heavy or that we can’t find anything in our purses? Sound familiar? We’ve all been there. But here’s the thing — you’re not just cleaning out a purse. You’re creating a system, and that’s the difference. Why Your System Works 1. The “Like With Like” Rule Two small bags = instant organization. Bag #1: Personal Care Kit • Lipstick (just one — disciplined!) and chapstick • Gum/mints • Hand sanitizer • Kleenex • Tylenol or small travel OTC medication • Band-aids That’s your “mini emergency kit.” Bag #2: Extra Cards + Business Cards • Membership cards • Backup credit cards • Business cards This keeps your daily wallet from becoming a brick. 2. The Streamlined Wallet Only: • 2 frequently used credit cards • Cash (not old fashioned — smart) • Driver’s license • Receipts (temporary holding zone) Don’t forget to move your receipts to a Tickler folder when you get home. That’s next-level grown-woman organization. 3. Writing Tools Pen, pencil, Sharpie — because when you need one, you really need one. Why This Makes Switching Purses So Easy Instead of transferring 37 loose items, you move: • 1 wallet • 2 small bags • Writing tools Done in minutes. That’s not just purse organization — that’s time management. And honestly? This isn’t about purses. It’s about reducing daily friction. When you can find what you need instantly, your day just feels calmer. I wouldn’t order black because it’s too hard to find things with the dark lining.
