It's hard to wrap your mind that you have to start planning your winter vacation and here we are with summer not be quite over. But the earlier you start, the better pricing and availability you may get.

Here are a few things to get you started:
What’s your budget?
What accommodation do you want? 1 bedroom? 2 bedrooms (so you can have visitors)?
Are you going with friends?
Where are you thinking? Florida, Arizona, Texas? Caribbean?
What items to you like to do while vacationing? Fishing? Beach? Golf? Organized events?
Are you driving or flying?
Are you wanting a swimming pool or jacuzzi?
Allegiances Airlines from Flint flies direct to Florida and a couple of places to Arizona
You may consider looking at Airbnb or VRBO.
Take notes on what you like and don’t like and try a few different destinations.
