TITLE: Bookcase come tumbling down!

LOGICAL PLACEMENT’S SOLUTION:

Betty worked with her client and sorted the bookcase into categories. They placed photo albums with one another and then had an area of the bookcase dedicated to each family member. Having an organized bookcase gave the whole room an organized and together look.

TITLE: Busy Family Life

PROBLEM: Can’t find items in the cupboards when you need them. Everything falls out onto the floor.

A quick inventory revealed to this client that it was time to decide what to keep, donate and purge. Because this client spends lots of time in the kitchen, her papers were given a new logically placed home in a filing cabinet right in the kitchen. The children were also given easy access to place their coloring books and crayons in the cupboard.

TITLE: Exploding Closet

LOGICAL PLACEMENT’S SOLUTION:

To organize this bedroom,with Betty's guidance, the client made three bins: keep as keepsake, give away, and clothes to grow into eventually. As often happens once items are logically placed, this client became aware of another lesson revealed by becoming organized: beware of shopping for clothes too far in advance because sometimes children skip sizes as they grow.

TITLE: Exploding Closet

LOGICAL PLACEMENT’S SOLUTION:

 

In this particular closet, the client kept many sentimental clothing that took up a lot of room. We bought a few clear containers and then installed a 2nd rod in their basement and placed the clothes there. This freed up a lot of room in the master closet and made a difference in getting ready in the morning. We also introduced a simple shoe organizer that really made a difference in space.

TITLE: No room for cars in the garage.

PROBLEM: This three car garage had no place to park cars in the winter months.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

LOGICAL PLACEMENT’S SOLUTION:

Betty helped clients put shelving around the walls to get items off the floor. Then centers were created for gardening, tools and toys.
Children could see their toys and find them more easily on shelves. The children have become more independent and now cars can
be parked inside the garage.

Betty helped her client come up with a checklist of all the items she wanted in her new kitchen. Then she helped to interview

prospective contractors and helped to keep the project on time and on budget.

The client found a contractor that she liked and the rest was history.
